I Almost Forgot
As the title says, I almost forgot. Other than nearly failing to make this post, what else have I forgotten? I almost forgot one of my book projects, Built from Within, yet I returned to it yesterday night and wrote a brief chapter. I also seem to have forgotten that I promised to provide thousands of homes while I’ve been in a mini funk. I feel okay today, yet there have been some bland or drab days in the past two weeks. I’d passed out on the couch in the afternoons and aimed to sleep away some time.
With a different thing that eats up time, I’ve also been becoming more conscious about my smoking and asking “why do I want a smoke” more often when I have the impulse to light up. I’m sure I’ve forgotten heaps of my past, too, like how I barely have any memories of my Mom, Dad, and I eating family meals. I also seem to forget teachers’ names, whereas I’ve heard some people can recall their grade one teachers.
I’ve not forgotten about The Fountains, and I’m also starting to message more people about the books. I want to sell 2,000 or more copies this year, and though far from the quarter-million total I want to sell, a few sales have trickled in in the past week.
I also almost forgot that I recorded heaps of music in the past. Though only a few songs are available on Spotify, my computer has 300 recordings I’ve made or been a part of since 2000. I’m happy to know I don’t have to perform on stage, yet is not the world a stage? Perhaps I should remember my lines.
