A Bit Quakers
For the past two or three months, I’ve been saying something random, “You want a duck? I’ll sell you a duck!” I think the link is from the Sierra game Quest for Glory II. As is, this joke has seeped out from my mind and mouth.
A TikTok friend, “The Arty Moose” (aka @FoxOffArt), was live and shared a few pictures she drew. One of them, I adored! A picture of the Pokemon Psyduck. I bought the picture from her, and now it’s kindly upon my living room wall!
I’m not really so random, and I may not have as many thoughts as I believed. The process of writing and publishing books has been good, yet I’m still not convinced of the books having an ROI, both for readers buying the books and my investment of time and energy into them. I’d like to have a more significant impact than marketing my books as pleasure reads.
I did, though, get my first GoodReads review for Winds of Change, the sixth three-part book. Someone gave it a 4/5 rating and a kind review! I’ve written about how I didn’t know if my books were ‘quality or crap,’ and this one review seems to say quality!
If you’re into a unique, quality read, search ‘Robert Koyich’ on Amazon and find the leading book Fragments of Intent. It’s in print, Kindle, and audiobook, and I hope the book can bring more people into The Fountains Series.
I hope you have your work and creations too. Be sure to share your work, and if you find a broad audience for your work, I hope they may appreciate it too!
